Episode 96

Edward Herrera | What’s Really Essential?

Published on: 23rd March, 2023

This week on Living the Call, Deacon Charlie sits down with Edward Herrera - husband, father of five and Executive Director for the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Institute for Evangelization. Previously, Edward was the Director for the Office of Marriage and Family Life, in which his focus was accompanying couples in marriage prep.

In this episode, Deacon talks with Edward about the most effective ways to evangelize the world around us. They answer questions like, how can we balance having the boldness to share Jesus with those in our sphere of influence while living in a way that isn't perceived as “weird?” How can we attract others to the goodness, truth and beauty found in God? Above all, they stress the importance of remembering what’s truly essential in evangelization.
