This week on Living the Call, Deacon Charlie sits down with blogger, speaker and author Deacon Greg Kandra. Greg spent nearly three decades in broadcast journalism, mostly as a writer and producer at CBS News for programs including “48 Hours,” “60 Minutes II,” “Sunday Morning” and “The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” with work also on the hit reality series “Survivor.” His blog, “The Deacon’s Bench,” has garnered some 20 million readers from around the world since its inception in 2007. 

In this episode, Deacon Greg reflects on his time with CBS news, and how he felt God calling him to use his gifts to do more with his life. He also shares insights from his new book, Befriending St. Joseph as well as the importance of rediscovering joy and gratitude in our lives.
